About Us

Sherwood GeoConsulting was formed by Mark Cooper in January 2008 and Incorporated in January 2009. Mark Cooper is the principal of the company and the sole employee.

 

Sherwood GeoConsulting Inc. provides geological consultancy services to oil and gas companies worldwide on international oil and gas exploration projects and on structural geology.

 

The company also provides specialized training courses on various aspects of the application of structural geology to hydrocarbon exploration. These courses are presented jointly with Marian Warren of Jenner GeoConsulting.

 

Sherwood GeoConsulting Inc. also acts as the Calgary representative for Rock Deformation Research (RDR) a company based in Leeds, U.K. that specializes in fault seal analysis and reservoir scale deformation and fluid flow in the sub-surface.
